Is Underway!
What to Expect
Work began July 22 and will go through early fall. All entrances will remain open during construction with the exception of the Snelling entrance which may be closed for only a few days during sidewalk work.
Landscape project scope expanded
Following the June 23 informational meeting, where we discussed a number of needed cost cutting measures, we received several generous donations that allowed us to include an irrigation system, plus reinstate the sidewalk from the peace pole to the Goodrich entry and the retaining wall at the northwest corner of the building.
Current Status
Sept 7: The Snelling Ave entrance is open for handicap access. Both new sidewalks to the Snelling entrance, one from Goodrich the other from the parking lot, are finished! Please use caution on the these sidewalks…there are still drop-offs on each side.
Irrigation and lighting installation is nearly complete. Plantings and mulch are underway.
Snelling northbound is open with a single lane. Access to our parking lot from Snelling is also open. Southbound Snelling is open, but will be closing on Monday, Sept 9. Keep an eye on changing traffic patterns.
