We want you in the conversation.
Share a video of yourself answering question prompts & hear what others have to say.
Take a moment to consider these questions:
Think of one or two people you deeply admire. (People you know personally or people you have heard or read about.). What do you admire about them? Is it their character, their achievements, their happiness? What would you say is important in their lives?
Is “long, happy and healthy” the best description of a good life? Why or why not? Jesus suggests that servanthood is heart of a good life. What might that look like?
Take a moment to consider these questions:
When you are trying to make a decision, who is the voice in your head? What is the source of your conscience (parents, grandparents, church, society)?
It is easy to be overwhelmed by all of the messages that come to you: advertising, needs in the world, family responsibilities, etc. How do you filter all of the input? What guides or helps you to decide what is best?
Take a moment to consider these questions:
What feelings are found in a genuinely good life – Is there room for only pleasure? What other feelings should a good life include? What about grief and pain?
How important is it that your feelings connect with something true in the world?
What difference does it make that we worship a savior who suffered on a cross?
Take a moment to consider these questions:
What is the first thing that comes to mind when asked: what do you hope for?
Do your hopes include other people? Who do they include: your family, your nation, the world?
Do you hope for something that seems attainable in your lifetime? If not, what feeds your hope?
Take a moment to consider these questions:
Which is more important: the way you live your life (means) or what you accomplish (ends)? Why?
What standards guide your conduct? How do you choose those standards?
What does “You are the light of the world” mean to you? How can you be a light for others?
