How to use the calendar
How do I view only the program calendars I want?
The calendar is organized in layers, so you can show only what is relevant to you.
Want to see just one program, like Cantorei or Children’s Ministries? Want to hide outside group use? Use the bubble filters above the calendar to customize your view.
You can select one filter or several at the same time.
Leave the bubble filter(s) active and scroll to a future month to see the future months' meetings or events that match the filter(s).
How do I find a specific meeting or event?
Use the search bar to find a meeting or event in the current month.
You can search by title, location, or words in the description to quickly find what you need.
Leave the search term active and scroll to a future month to see the meetings or events that match the search term.
Why am I not seeing an event I expected to find?
A search term or bubble filter may be active. When selected, the calendar only shows meetings or events that match. Try clearing the search or bubble filter to see all events again.
The event may also not be added yet, or its details may have changed.
How do I subscribe to a program calendar?
You can subscribe to the program calendars that matter most to you.
Whether it is Confirmation, Choristers, or another Immanuel group, subscribing adds that calendar to your personal digital calendar and keeps event details like times, locations, and notes up to date.
Click the “Subscribe to Program Calendars” button at the top of the calendar and follow your digital calendar’s instructions for adding a subscription calendar.
The calendars are refreshed twice a day. If your digital calendar allows you to choose how often it updates subscription calendars, we recommend choosing "every hour" or "every day".
How do I add a single meeting or event to my personal calendar?
If a meeting or event includes an Add to Calendar button, click it and choose Google Calendar or Apple/Outlook (.ics).
This adds only that one meeting or event to your personal calendar.
Unlike subscribing to a program calendar, this is a one-time addition. It will not update automatically if the time, location, or other details change.
How is the Immanuel General Calendar different from program calendars?
The Immanuel General Calendar includes meetings and events that are not already part of a specific program calendar.
For example, Children’s Ministries events will not appear on the general calendar because they are listed in their own calendar layer.
Use the bubble filters or search bar to find the meetings and events you want.
