What Your
Treasures Make Possible
This isn’t just a Flea Market—it’s one way Immanuel loves our neighbors.
Every item donated, every hour volunteered and every purchase made helps support organizations serving people throughout our community. In 2025, the Flea Market raised more than $20,000 for our community partners.
Josh’s story shows what can happen when concern turns into action—and one voice joins many others.
When Worry Became a Voice
Since moving to the Twin Cities, Josh has relied on Hennepin County Medical Center for regular medical care, including checkups and physical therapy.
Earlier this year, he learned that one of his providers would no longer be available because of financial pressures facing Hennepin Healthcare. Suddenly, those challenges felt very personal: What happens when the care you depend on is no longer there?
Then, on his way to an appointment, Josh saw members of ISAIAH holding a vigil near HCMC, advocating for the hospital and the people who rely on it.
That moment stayed with him. In May, Josh joined ISAIAH at the State Capitol to add his own voice. Later that month, the Legislature approved additional funding for Hennepin Healthcare.
For Josh, that decision meant something simple but important:
he could continue receiving the care he needs. It also showed him what can happen when people come together, speak up and care for their neighbors.

That’s part of what the Flea Market helps make possible. Proceeds from Immanuel’s Flea Market support community partners like ISAIAH, helping neighbors organize, advocate and speak up about issues that affect their everyday lives.
We're counting the days!
